Job Description:
Location: Stone Mountain, GA (Hybrid: Monday-Thursday in the office with the option to work at home on Friday)
As the Application Engineering Supervisor, you will guide and support the application engineering team, helping them deliver technical refrigeration support to customers, sales teams, and end users. You'll help ensure the team provides accurate pre- and post-sales support for refrigeration system selection, quoting, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee team tasks related to:
Selection, quoting, configuration, and troubleshooting of both standard and complex refrigeration systems.
Ensuring products are applied effectively to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with the sales team, customers, and end users to offer expert support on refrigeration systems.
Opportunity to work with engineers on product and software development initiatives, contributing as part of a cross-functional team.
Other Responsibilities:
This is a working supervisor role, you will maintain your own area of responsibility within the team, based on your skills and expertise.
You will be involved with personnel management, assist with resource allocation, and participate in budget management decisions.
Assist in performance evaluations, audits and preparing reports for upper management.
Qualifications:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
Requires at least 5 years of related experience.
Excellent customer service skills, strong math and mechanical knowledge.
Expert knowledge of calculations required for correctly applying equipment and equipment integration.
May require knowledge of custom control programming.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Requires expertise in leading teams to reach goals.
Able to use Microsoft Office.
The Compensation range for this position is approximately $98,000 - $128,000 and will be based on the candidate's qualification, experience, and education.
