Job description

Business Development Manager: Business Development Manager, is responsible for overseeing the process of business development and to work with other BD Managers to promote the company's longevity. Duties include, but are not limited to working closely with potential business partners and maintaining existing client relationships and monitoring market trends to come up with new federal contracts to pursue. Develop and submit proposals for federal contracts. Must be familiar with federal government contracting. Location: Tyrone, GA

Preferred Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of diversified experience, primarily within the business development realm or military active-duty time of at least 10 years of military commissioned service in the logistics arena is preferred. • Proven track record of selling or delivering technical services to the DoD/Military agencies that support their missions.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain or currently possess a DoD security clearance
• Established industry and government relationships and understanding of the United States Military competitive landscape and acquisition processes.
Principal duties: • Possess a thorough understanding of proposal pricing, contract terminology, negotiations with potential clients, and the Company's policies and business objectives, is required
• Possess a thorough understanding of market development, capture process, proposal pricing, contract terminology, negotiations with potential clients, is required
• Proficient experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Outlook and Adobe.
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent presentation skills • In addition, an exceptional ability to represent the Company favorably, to develop new clients, and to negotiate with key members of other firms, is also required
Responsibilities:
• Will be the leading force in growing client relationships and business in our DoD/Military Market
• Develops and leads our account and business strategies designed to expand XOtech presence in key DoD/Military organizations
• Reports to the COO, and leads large/strategic pursuits, solution development, teaming relationships and responding to customer solicitation for new business
• Travel requirement of up to 25%, to meet with key customers or partners as required, when needed
• Keeps up to date on overall business trends, particularly the current business climate to include changes in customer budgets, policies and priorities
• Defines and executes long-term business and marketing strategies • Directs marketing campaigns to establish and cultivate long-term relationships with key client officials
• Seeks opportunities to strengthen client relationships
• Understands and responds to potential clients' needs and objectives by engaging and educating potential/existing customers on XOtech capabilities
• Leads and guides the proposal team from inception to completion, and interfaces with the company executives
• Oversees the development of the pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions
• Negotiates contracts, including secrecy agreements and teaming agreements
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate XOtech, LLC is committed to a drug free workplace.
