We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Steel Fabrication Project Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing structural steel fabrication projects from inception to completion.

Job Summary:

As the Structural Steel Fabrication Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of structural steel fabrication projects. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of projects within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination:


    • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, in collaboration with engineering and fabrication teams.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Client Communication:


    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Communicate project progress, milestones, and any potential issues to clients in a timely manner.
  • Quality Assurance:


    • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure structural steel fabrication meets or exceeds industry standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments throughout the fabrication process.
  • Team Leadership:


    • Lead and motivate project teams, including engineers, fabricators, and subcontractors.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to enhance team productivity.
  • Budget and Cost Management:


    • Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying and addressing potential overruns.
    • Work with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the structural steel fabrication industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
