Job Description: The Strategic National Solutions Section is seeking a motivated Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Systems Engineer to engage with our primary customers operating out of San Diego and Joint Base Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Work with primary customers to define, scope, and architect new capabilities, and pursue new and innovative solutions to AOR-specific challenges by leading technical, contractual, customer, proposal efforts, as they emerge. Support Solutions Architect team with design, prototyping, proposing new Sensor-to-Shooter capabilities in support of current and future customers. Position is based at Joint Base in Pearl Harbor Hawaii. Roles and Responsibilities Act as Parsons' OTH-T Liaison Officer for AOR activities and events
Coordinate with AOR entities to gather data link, communications, track management, collection, and fires requirements for enhancements to Parsons' capabilities
Provide technical and operational guidance to Parsons' engineering teams in Colorado and Virginia offices
Support unclassified testing and evaluation activities for Link-16 and IBS message certifications
Support configuration, training, and/or operations of relevant software components for AOR user communities
Support PMs and tech leads with monthly CDRLs and reports
Lead Parsons' support efforts for data transfer to and from AOR as required
Represent and support the execution of Parsons' AOR Campaign on behalf of Parsons' Strategy SVP and AOR Strategy VP
Understand Parsons' capabilities relevant to AOR and assist in the rapid development/adaptation/deployment of new capabilities
Work directly with Parsons PMs to integrate Parsons' capabilities across AOR, serving as our "local expert" in terms of local DoD Exercises, knowing COCOM expectations, and tracking relevant IPLs / Capability Gaps
Work closely with the AOR Parsons' BD Team but focus on how Parsons' capabilities enhance and integrate with the current AOR systems, missions, and operations.
Establish a routine presence with AOR Staffs, Service Component and other Customers, relevant to Parsons' AOR Campaign Strategy
Facilitate discussions for operational integration of Parsons' capabilities with AOR customers
Assist in the engagement of Senior AOR and Service Component leaders regarding relevant Parsons' capabilities to mission objectives
Assist in the stand-up of a new Parsons' AOR secure facility Experience Must have a Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with military forces/missions and/or DoD enabling applications/systems
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in or around AOR, knowledgeable of DoD missions in AOR
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret SCI This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
