Our team, supporting The USN Next Generation Enterprise Networks Recompete (NGEN-R) Contract, has an immediate need for a Communications Network Technician 3. A qualified candidate for this position would be responsible for network design, integration, test, security, and implementation of Transport Services for the as-fielded NMCI network. Must have an extensive knowledge of defense-in-depth principles, Network and Security architecture, network topology, IT device integrity, and common security elements. Primary responsibilities include: • Provide Information Assurance Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and thought leadership for the largest Intranet in the world • Collaborate with Network Domain Architects to define and/or continuously improve: - Audit and Review STIG compliant configuration baselines, versioning, and compliance tracking; - Test and Validate Automation and best practice insertion opportunities; - Lead development of SOPs/TTPs; - Continuous Service Improvements (CSI); - Create and maintain Engineering Implementation Plans (EIP) • Plan and execute network upgrades and maintenance activities with the NMCI Operations Manager, NOC Lead, Release Management team and other key stakeholders Job Requirements • Must possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification such as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) • Must possess an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III Security Clearance Secret Job Type Full-time StratasCorp provides a complete compensation package with competitive wages and benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA & HSA accounts, disability and other income protection benefits, life insurance, paid personal time-off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401K Saving Plan with a company matching contribution.
