Description:

Assists with the company's information technology security program. Helps plan, develop, implement and review security standards, procedures and guidelines to safeguard systems, databases and network against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure. Assists in testing security products and control techniques and communicating security procedures to users. Identifies regulatory changes that will affect data/information security and recommends appropriate changes. Provides technical assistance in the planning and design of IT security systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

1. Implementing Security Solutions: Oversee the deployment, configuration and maintenance of technical security solutions such as Firewalls, SaaS applications, IDPs, MFA, DLPs, CASBs, and others.

2. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of implemented security solutions. Documentation also includes keeping Project Status, Network Diagrams and System Procedures up to date.

3. Incident Response: Act as the technical lead for Incident Response activities, including investigation, containment and remediation of Security Incidents.

4. Network and Infrastructure Security: Design, implement and maintain Network Security measures, including segmentation, encryption and secure remote access.

5. Collaborate with Cross-Functional teams: Provide guidance to business units and work closely with IT Teams to ensure security controls and configuration of new technologies or processes meets industry best practices and aligns with HSFCU's Security Standards.

6. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security processes, technologies and practices. This also

7. System Hardening: Establish and maintain security baselines for Operating Systems, Cloud Environments, Applications and Network devices.

8. Leadership and Team Management: Mentor, guide and support members of the Information Security Team. Foster a culture of collaboration and professional growth within the team.

11. Administrative Duties and Leadership - 10% of time spent

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of at least one industry standard firewall.

Knowledge of industry standards for information security.

Knowledge of network and server operating systems.

Knowledge of project management principles.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least 1-2 years of related experience in Information Security Administration or equivalent experience.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Strong problem solving abilities.

Solid organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to operate all related computer hardware and software.

TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.

AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

REPETITIVE MOTION: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)
