Job description

The Clinical Team Leader at Brain Health Hawaii is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the TMS department, ensuring the highest standard of patient care, and supervising the TMS Technicians. This role involves coordinating treatments, managing schedules, training new staff, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, detail-oriented leader with a deep understanding of TMS therapy and a commitment to advancing mental health care.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership:
Lead and supervise a team of TMS Technicians, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Coordinate daily TMS operations, including scheduling and assigning patient treatments.
Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with clinic goals and address any concerns.

Patient Care:
Ensure that all TMS treatments are administered safely and effectively, following established protocols.
Monitor patient progress and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to adjust treatment plans as needed.
Address patient concerns and provide a supportive environment during treatments.

Training & Development:
Train new TMS Technicians on treatment protocols, safety procedures, and patient interaction.
Develop and implement continuing education programs for staff to ensure high levels of competency and up-to-date knowledge of TMS advancements.

Equipment & Safety:
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of TMS equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect patients and staff during treatments.
Coordinate with the maintenance team or external vendors for equipment repairs or updates as needed.

Documentation & Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all treatments, patient progress, and any incidents.
Compile reports on TMS operations, patient outcomes, and technician performance for review by management.

Quality Improvement:
Identify areas for operational improvement within the TMS department and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and patient care.
Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the development of clinic policies and procedures related to TMS.

Qualifications:
High school or equivalent
Associates degree desirable/ Bachelors degree strongly preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on patient care.
Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other relevant software.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a mental health or neurological clinic.
Familiarity with quality improvement processes and safety standards in a clinical setting.
