Job Number: R Physical Security Operational Planner

As a Homeland Defense and Physical Security Planner, you will bring your leadership, subject matter expertise, planning and consulting expertise to work alongside leaders on projects for the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility. As a plans and security expert, you will assist the client's Physical Security Team with the implementation of policies and procedures for the physical protection of USARPAC, Subordinate Commands, and other agencies within the pacific. You will work with the USARPAC Physical Security Team to ensure security protocols and procedures are implemented and monitor appropriately within DoD guidelines and policy. You'll use your expertise to facilitate Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), bureaus, boards, cells, conferences, and working groups supporting the Guam Defense System (GDS) mission requirements as an operational planner. You will contribute to the development, analysis, and evaluation of policy, processes, and systems related to client security and access requirements. You will support related initiatives and requirements, including institutional and operational level security cooperation capacity building events, organizational assessment, inspections, and input into higher headquarters efforts. You'll contribute to the synchronization of efforts in a matrix organization with multiple functional areas and provide written reports and briefs for senior military audiences. You Have: 5+ years of experience with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) or Joint Planning Process 3+ years of experience with operational planning at the Corps, Theater, Combatant Command, or Joint level Staff Experience with Organizational Inspection Programs and Physical Security Inspections Knowledge of US Army Protection Warfighting Function, Homeland Defense Planning, and Multi-Domain Operations Ability to deliver oral and written presentations to senior leaders Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time Secret clearance Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience as a p hysical security officer in DoD or the US Government ATO Level II Certification Nice If You Have: 3+ years of experience with serving as a p hysical security officer Experience with planning, coordinating, and assessing of physical security systems designed to safeguard personnel and prevent unauthorized access government property and personnel Experience as an Antiterrorism Officer (ATO) or Physical Security Officer (PSO) and conducting mission assurance assessment or DoD inspections Knowledge of Critical Infrastructure Risk and Vulnerability Management Program Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification USACE Security Engineering Course, USACE ESS Design Course Trained or Certified in Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or Completing training within 30-days of hire Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
