Job description

TECHNOLOGY VULNERABILITY ANALYST 1 Join our team as a Technology Vulnerability Analyst, where you'll support critical initiatives in cybersecurity, focusing on identifying vulnerabilities and enhancing network security. In this role, you'll work closely with the team to support tasking, collection, and emulation efforts for mission-driven operations. THE JOB
Provide analyst support to the Tradecraft team, collaborating with customers to triage network traffic and develop proof of concept (PoC) solutions for Computer Network Exploitation (CNE).
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and computer forensics to identify, evaluate, and address security risks across multiple platforms.
Develop and implement countermeasures for identified vulnerabilities, working closely with system and hardware engineers to ensure secure system architecture.
Characterize and analyze cyberattacks based on required resources and capabilities, assessing their potential impacts on mission operations.
Document security findings in formal and informal reports, delivering briefings on both potential and actual threats, supporting customer awareness and response planning.
Support the development of new tasking and collection plans, optimizing collection efforts through emulation of network traffic and analysis of real-time data.
Compare and evaluate different attack techniques, supporting the development of operationally effective security countermeasures. THE REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (e.g., Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance).
Alternatively, an Associate's degree with 4+ years of directly related experience may be considered. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cybersecurity, information systems, network security, or vulnerability analysis, ideally with exposure to network traffic analysis and CNE support.
Military Training Equivalency: Relevant military training (e.g., JCAC, UCT, NWBC, INWT) may fulfill part of the experience requirements. Certifications: Information Assurance Certification may be required. Skills:
Proficiency in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and system analysis.
Experience in network traffic emulation, tasking development, and CNE PoC support.
Solid understanding of network and system administration, information assurance, and security protocols. THE EXTRAS
Experience with CI/CD tools and automated security testing.
Familiarity with database management and data analysis in a security context.
Strong analytical and reporting skills with an ability to communicate effectively within technical teams.
Commitment to process improvement and maintaining high documentation standards within a collaborative team environment.
