Job description

PURVIS Systems is a technology solutions company that develops, implements, and maintains mission-critical solutions for Federal and Local Governments. We are seeking candidates to support a project expected to be awarded in early 2025. Responsibilities: Lead Engineering Technician / On-Site Representative (OSR), Pearl Harbor, HI
• Support for carry-on engineering program requirements, mission, ship installation requirements and protocols.
• OSR shall manage all related design data; coordinate efforts to meet fleet requirements; compile data packages; and assist with interface agreements such as Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
• Develop ship inspection procedures (including test procedures).
• Provide ship check reports in accordance with provided Ship Check guidance materials. • Perform Alteration Installation Team (AIT) installations, removals, overhauls, upgrades, and/or technical assistance for assemblies, units, equipment, systems, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and alterations. • Coordinate with the Activity's Alteration Removal Team (ART) to ensure proper removal of the applicable TEMPALT and proper restoration of platform.
• Coordinate with the Activity's Alteration Installation Team (AIT) to ensure that all material and applicable instructions, TDP(s), DFS(s), etc. are approved and installed.
• Adhere to the requirements of shipboard protocol. Qualifications: • High school/vocational school diploma or GED certificate.
Fifteen (15) years of full-time professional experience working as an Engineering Technician in providing technical support related to the design, development, production, or testing of shipboard systems.
Ten (10) years full-time hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or testing of any one major shipboard system/equipment. The desired full-time experience precludes concurrent experience on more than one system/equipment unless they are all equivalent in complexity and maintenance philosophy.
Demonstrate technical competence; possess good communication skills; and be able to work independently. Candidate must be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level of TOP SECRET.
