Job description

PRISM seeks a highly skilled Network Communications Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. You will troubleshoot network issues, optimize performance, and ensure network security. Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and BAN networks. Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including hardware, software, and configuration problems. Network Optimization: Monitor network performance and implement optimizations to improve speed and reliability. Network Security: Implement security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption. Network Administration: Administer network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Project Management: Coordinate network installations, upgrades, and migrations. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network documentation. Qualifications:
Active DoD Top Secret Secret
8570 Compliant IAT II (CompTIA Security+CE and Active CCNA certification)
Strong technical expertise in network engineering, with a focus on unified communications.
Experience with network design, implementation, and maintenance (LAN/WAN/BAN topologies)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
