Job description
Synertex LLC is seeking a NEPTUNE HAWK Security Officer to support the Headquarters, Pacific Air Forces (HQ PACAF) by performing duties in support exercise security requirements. Manage physical security posture of a SCIF and training of all personnel assigned to the NH program. Responsibilities: Provide briefings to Senior Officers in person, via VTC and/or in writing on ongoing theater operations, planning issues, and exercises.
Conduct liaison with national-level agencies, DoD, Services, Combatant Commands, and intelligence agencies.
Provide system specific training to assigned PACAF STO cleared personnel. Routinely evaluate SAP capabilities for OPLAN integration, providing briefings to senior officials within the command and external agencies on technical and operational aspects of special access programs and capabilities.
Serve as focal point for STO activities and documentation regarding mission changes, technology, and other impacts on special access programs and plans.
Monitor, review, and evaluate staff inputs, and coordinate outside the organization for the purpose of planning and organizing efforts, resolving problems which transcend various management disciplines, exchanging experiences, advising on professional matters, and organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications: Master's degree or above preferred.
6 minimum years of experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a MAJCOM or higher-level command staff (highly desired).
Must have working knowledge of SCIF management with a minimum of 3 years hands on experience.
Must have experience working with Special Access Programs (SAP).
Possesses strong communication and multitasking skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and a self-starting personality.
Able to work and lead in a team environment with demonstrated leadership and customer interface skills.
Working knowledge of current Microsoft Office applications.
Possesses good analytical skills and be able to operate in a demanding environment while executing multiple tasks simultaneously.
At least 10 years' rated experience in fighter/bomber aircraft is highly desired (i.e., F-15C/E, F-16, A-10, F-18, E/A-18, F-22, F-35, B-52, B-1, B-2, etc ), or ISR aircraft (i.e. U-2, RQ-1, RQ-4, MQ-9, RQ-170), or Air Battle Management (I.e. E-2, E-3, E-8, AOC, JTAC, CCT, etc ).
Familiarity with Nellis AFB operations, USAF Warfare Center organizations, and Nevada Test & Training Range (NTTR) infrastructure (highly desired).
Recent (within last 5 years) experience with tactical aircraft operations and exercise and experiment coordination and execution (highly desired).
Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) or operation contingency planning experience (highly desired).
Strong background in Special Access Programs (highly desired).
STO Planning experience (highly desired).
USAF Weapons Instructor Course or Navy Top Gun graduate (highly desired).
Be familiar with military experimentation experience (desired).
Have operational knowledge of the Joint Operational Planning and Execution System. Construct a plan, review steps for authorization and identify gaps within the secure IJSTO parameters towards eventual execution (desired).
Have successfully completed the IJSTO Planning and Decision Aide System users' course (desired).
