Job description

Senior CNE Software Engineer
Wahiawa, Hawaii
Day Shift, on-site Cadence Coalition is looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated software engineers to support this mission's objectives. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, have strong leadership skills, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
Key Responsibilities: • Development of CNE tools, including covert communication and system interrogation. • Adherence to enterprise-level software development practices. • Conduct advanced penetration tests on client systems and networks to identify vulnerabilities and potential entry points for attackers. • Collaborate with the research team to analyze emerging threats and recommend countermeasures to enhance overall network security. • Conduct in-depth analysis of security logs and network traffic to detect and respond to potential cyber threats. • Design and implement security measures, such as firewalls, data encryption, and access control systems, to protect client networks. • Assess and provide feedback on client systems' security posture, including reviewing architecture, configurations, and identifying areas for improvement. Qualifications: • Active TS/SCI security clearance. • Bachelor's degree in IT related field. • Proficiency in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and binary exploitation. • Strong knowledge of computer networking and security protocols. Preferred Qualifications: • Ability to develop Android mobile applications.
