Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other Physical Therapists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care, helping individuals recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage pain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Assessment:

    • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
  2. Treatment Implementation:

    • Administer physical therapy treatments including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
    • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
    • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention.
  3. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other Physical Therapists and healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans.
  4. Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
    • Document treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  5. Patient Education:

    • Provide patients with information on their conditions and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
    • Offer guidance on lifestyle changes and preventive measures to enhance overall health and well-being.
  6. Equipment Management:

    • Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment.
    • Report any equipment malfunctions or needs for repair.
  7. Professional Development:

    • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy.
    • Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities.
  8. Compliance:

    • Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
    • Ensure treatments are performed in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active Physical Therapist license in State .
  • Experience: Previous experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic for extended periods.
