ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is searching for a Vulnerability Assessor to support Broadleaf which is a fully remote opportunity. JOB DESCRIPTION: ASRC Federal is seeking a Vulnerability Assessor to support a U.S. Government client in assessing and identifying vulnerabilities in new and existing solutions. This role involves using cybersecurity assessment tools, categorizing vulnerabilities, generating detailed assessment results, and developing cybersecurity assessment techniques. Use various cybersecurity assessment tools for evaluating commercial and government off-the-shelf products. Categorize and assign impact for discovered vulnerabilities using recognized benchmarks and frameworks. Generate detailed assessment results with recommendations. Work with ISSOs to develop POA&Ms for accepted cybersecurity risks. Develop and maintain cybersecurity assessment techniques for emerging technologies. JOB REQUIREMENTS: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of prior cybersecurity experience; experience in lieu of a degree may be acceptable. Working knowledge of vulnerability management solutions like Tenable. Technical understanding of core cybersecurity technologies. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of security system design tools, methods, and techniques. Familiarity with vulnerability scans and risk assessments. Other Desired Skills: Positive attitude and hands-on cybersecurity experience. Understanding of cybersecurity threats and attack vectors. Familiarity with DoD/Federal secure configuration baselines. Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and Risk Management Framework Linux experience EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred CLEARANCE LEVEL: Active Secret Clearance JOB REQUIREMENTS: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of prior cybersecurity experience; experience in lieu of a degree may be acceptable.
