POSITION : Talent Acquisition Specialist STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) establishes, maintains, and coaches others on best practices for attracting top talent to meet the organizational hiring initiatives. This individual will have extraordinary customer service skills, be able to communicate at all levels and have a genuine interest in matching candidate experience, skills and behavioral competencies with job qualifications and organizational needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a critical role in getting the right people hired at JTS, and as a result, will share the recruitment and onboarding process for the company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support JTS and Human Resources with providing a customer first, team centric, white glove experience for employees, prospective employees, vendors, clients, co-workers, and the general public when representing the company.
- Provide full life cycle recruiting for administrative and manufacturing positions of all levels. Highlighting the organizational culture, benefits, and overall value proposition.
- Assist in the creation of job descriptions and post jobs in Applicant Tracking System
- Work closely with hiring managers to develop recruitment plans, candidate sourcing, advertising, and outreach strategies, etc.
- Utilize social media platforms to enhance JTS market reputation and attract passive talent.
- Evaluate qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities of potential candidates against position requirements and job descriptions and disposition appropriately within the ATS.
- Schedule candidate interviews and provide supporting documents for all interviews.
- Follow up to ensure the administration of background checks, reference verifications and drug tests for job applicants are completed as part of the hiring process while maintaining strict confidentiality regarding the results of background checks, MVR reports and drug tests, ensuring that sensitive information is only shared with authorized individuals.
- Learn company benefits and timekeeping process in order to successfully present to prospective and current employees.
- Assist with follow up to ensure all new hires have completed pre-employment paperwork and have completed benefit enrollment after the onboarding process.
- Ensure all records and documents are collected and appropriately stored at the end of the recruitment cycle for each job opening.
- Track recruitment and turnover data, including cost per hire, time to fill, turnover ratio by department, recruitment forecasting and weekly report on recruitment activity.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and equal employment opportunity (EEO) guidelines throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist with attending job fairs, career forums and HR networking events
- Recommend and implement process improvements and use of recruitment tools and strategies
- Assist and support with various HR initiatives and projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 3+ years experience in talent acquisition or fully cycle recruitment (required)
- Understanding of general HR policies, practices, benefits, and timekeeping.
- Ability to effectively evaluate candidates based on job requirements and cultural fit
- Proficiency working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) JazzHR preferred
- Knowledge of applicable labor laws, regulations, and EEO guidelines, and is able to coach others on the same.
- Effective time management with the ability to think beyond the task at hand.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain positive interactions with all levels of employees and candidates.
- Detail oriented - communication and documentation of interactions with applicants and employees
- Innovative and creative finding solutions and resolving challenges thinking outside the box
- Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace.
- Have reliable attendance, be respectful and responsible at work.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Professionalism to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Strong technical skills including intermediate or above experience level in MS Office applications
- Ability to show patience and courtesy when dealing with others and have pleasant telephone manners
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
