Express Employment is looking to hire a Vineyard Manager for one of our respected clients in the Treasure Valley.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Vineyard Manager to oversee daily operations and long-term strategies for our vineyard. This role involves managing vine health, soil management, irrigation, harvest, and leading a team to ensure high-quality grape production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in vineyard management, farming equipment (tractors, forklifts), and sustainable agricultural practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee vine care: planting, pruning, canopy management, pest/disease control.
• Plan and execute harvest operations to ensure optimal fruit quality.
• Manage irrigation, soil health, and vineyard equipment (tractors, forklifts, sprayers).
• Lead and train a team of vineyard workers, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Maintain records on vine health, yields, and weather conditions.
• Collaborate with winemaking teams to meet production goals.
• Develop and manage vineyard budgets and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of vineyard management experience.
• Proficiency with tractors, forklifts, and farming equipment.
• Strong knowledge of pest/disease management and sustainable practices.
• Leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Bilingual (preferred)
• Applicator(s) license preferred
