WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

SHIFT MANAGEMENT:Oversee production shift activities, ensuring efficiency while maintaining high quality and minimizing costs.
TEAM LEADERSHIP:Lead and develop a team of 20-30 employees, solving operational challenges and driving performance.
PROCESS OPTIMIZATION:Use lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance production flow.
PERFORMANCE METRICS:Set, monitor, and achieve goals related to safety, productivity, and product quality.
CHANGE LEADERSHIP:Drive business improvements and lead change initiatives while minimizing the impact on your team.
COLLABORATION:Work cross-functionally with other departments to address and resolve operational issues.
KPI MONITORING:Track key performance indicators, identify trends, and proactively address challenges to meet financial and operational goals.

WHAT YOULL NEED:

EDUCATION:A BS/BA degree is required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:A minimum of 2 years of leadership or project management experience in manufacturing, military, business, or related settings.
SKILLS:Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
FLEXIBILITY:Willingness to work off-shifts when necessary.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:Experience with lean manufacturing, six-sigma, TPM, or similar methodologies.
