Job description

We have partnered with a large Construction company in the Bolingbrook, IL area to provide them with an Project Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Project Engineer:

. PE license in any state. If does not have, should get in a year.

. Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering concentration required.

. Masters degree preferred with minimum 3-5 years of Engineering within the Construction Industry.

. Knowledge of civil and structural engineering principals.

. Knowledge of codes such as ACI, PTI PCI, AASHTO, AISC, etc. required.

. Experience in post-tensioning and use of structural analysis and CAD software.

Requirements of the Project Engineer:

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering is essential.
A Masters degree is a plus, with 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience in the construction field.
Familiarity with civil and structural engineering principles.
Knowledge of industry standards and codes such as ACI, PTI, PCI, AASHTO, AISC, etc., is necessary.
Experience in post-tensioning techniques, as well as proficiency in structural analysis and CAD tools.
The candidate should be self-driven, organized, and professional, with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand client needs, market trends, and challenges.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or equivalent software.
A PE license from any state is required, or must be obtained within one year if not already held.

Other Key Requirements:

Work on-site.
No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
