Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following: Month end closing process and preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, provide various cost analysis and divisional comparisons, apply, and understand Internal Control processes, proactively seeking improvements and expanding technical knowledge, participate on various process improvement teams. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
