Job description

Our client is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team and manage the day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle the full accounting cycle independently. This position requires expertise in bookkeeping and financial reporting, as well as a strong understanding of accounting principles.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including the general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
  • Handle payroll processing, including tax filings and benefits administration.
  • Prepare financial reports and present them to management for decision-making.
  • Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and prepare tax filings.
  • Maintain and organize all financial records and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits or tax preparations.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Use accounting software to manage all bookkeeping functions.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.


Education & Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience with payroll, tax preparation, and financial reporting.
