IT Project Manager

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Project Manager IV (Change/Release Management) for an opportunity in Chicago, IL Kennesaw, GA

Position Title: IT Project Manager IV (Change/Release Management)

Location: Chicago, IL Kennesaw, GA

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 Months.

Job Type: CONTRACT, (Hybrid)

Monday- Friday (5x8)

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery - e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning fordelivery/execution. Individual Contributor.

Primary Skill - Change Managers

Required Skills
• Agile / Scrum Master experience
• 5+ years of End-2-End Project/Release Management experience
• Strong Project Management Skills, ability to lead a team and drive to results
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must possess analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Strong project financial management skills
• Guides projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated
• Develops and manages to project plan
• Identifies, assigns, tracks, escalates, and resolves issues
• Schedules and facilitates regular meetings to review progress and status, and ad hoc topical meetings; formulates agendas and documents minutes, action items
• Ability to provide project status/metrics on deliverables or escalate issues to sr. leaders and executives
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficient
