Status: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Location Polk Street Center - 1634 West Polk Street, Chicago, IL 60612
Shift: Flex shifts Mon. - Fri., btw 8:30am-5:00pm and every third Saturday 7:30a-1:00pm as additional time/overtime

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Radiology Supervisor, the Mammography Technologist performs Mammograms on patients, following established exam protocols. They are responsible for ensuring the patient's safety during the course of the procedure.
To produce quality images, demonstrating the anatomy and physiological presentation of patients internal structures for the diagnosis of the presence or absence of anomalies.
Demonstrates the appropriate operation of all equipment.
Demonstrates safety in all areas, electrical, environmental, radiation etc.
Ensures all appropriate information is present before exams are performed.
Explains the procedure in layman terms to ensure a patient's comfort.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested by Radiology Supervisor.
What we need from you:
American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) registered required.
Current Illinois Radiology Technologist licensure from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency required.
A graduate from an accredited radiography training program approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) required.
Mammography certification and experience required.
Ability to provide excellent customer service required.
Ability to move and lift patients required.
