Our client is looking for a Procurement Analyst to join their team!

Job Overview:
As a Senior Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for optimizing the procurement of goods and services, developing vendor relationships, managing contract negotiations, and performing data analysis to support cost-effective purchasing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement best practices, market analysis, and experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement initiatives and vendor negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality.
  • Analyze spending trends, vendor performance, and market conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop, implement, and refine procurement strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct RFQs, RFPs, and bid processes to evaluate suppliers and ensure optimal value for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and recommend improvements to procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide ongoing reporting and analysis on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor negotiation.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP, SAP, Oracle, or other procurement systems).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) is a plus.
