Job Responsibilities:

As a PCQI & SQF Practitioner, you will be an integral member of the staff. You will work directly with the Facility Manager and Quality Director and will be responsible for ensuring that we are following all SQF and FSMA guidelines.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Managing and updating all related and necessary documentation
  • Tracking, monitoring, testing and inspecting all processes and protocols & ensuring quality
  • Overseeing our Food Safety Program
  • Providing some Food Safety training for employees
  • Working closely and effectively with Facility Manager & QA/QC Director
  • Improving facility practices and processes
  • Promoting culture of safety and cleanliness

Job Requirements:

Due to the critical nature of this PCQI/Food Safety Practitioner position, you must have a proven and respected track record of success in order to be considered and you must be a certified PCQI & SQF Practitioner. If you are ready to expand your career, we want to hear from you!

Specific Requirements:

  • Several years of professional experience including all necessary certifications
  • Demonstrated success and thorough understanding of executing FSMA guidelines
  • Ability to anticipate and make good decisions
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, proactive, strategic, resourceful
  • Hard working, motivated, and possesses a positive attitude
  • Ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment
  • Superior organizational skills with an ease/ability to communicate well (both verbal and written)
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills

Bilingual (Spanish fluency) preferred but not required
