The Wellness Consultant is a wellness enthusiast who eagerly promotes a culture of health and well-being to our clients. With guidance from the Wellness Manager, they execute the implementation and maintenance of initiatives that educate, motivate, and engage clients and their employees in all aspects of wellness. The Wellness Consultant works to help their clients Minimize Risk and Maximize Health directly through the programs administered.

Wellness

Maintains a client book of business and strategically manages and consults on wellness program objectives

Assists with development and execution of client wellness programs

Supports service teams to create and assist in annual planning and implementing strategies

Develops internal and external collateral explaining wellness-focused topics

Develops presentations and wellness collateral that drive employee engagement and satisfaction

Researches vendors in the areas of wellness

Maintains agency systems with wellness templates and process updates

Updates agency management system to track client information as it relates to wellness

Develops strategies to address chronic condition management and reduce risk

Takes initiative to research and learn new projects

Works closely with dedicated Wellness Coordinator to manage client projects and initiatives

Execution of Client Service

Works with Producer and/or Account Executives, service team and other internal departments to plan, execute and track customized service strategy for each client, designed to create value and efficiencies in their businesses

Manages creation of service plan, and other specific deliverables designed to support clients in securing engagement

Builds personalized client relationships through demonstrated ownership of the service plan and multiple channels of communication such as phone, email and in-person meetings

Leverages insurance knowledge and communication skills to explain coverage terms, program options, and other items to clients as needed

Works with internal departments to ensure cohesiveness and timeliness of service execution, and creates report of service plan execution

Manages time effectively to prioritize workload, and service parameters on business processes

Peer Relationships

Provides feedback and shares information at team meetings

Participates in ongoing scheduled meetings with service team to discuss accounts, renewals, service needs, service platform, etc.

Develops successful working relationships with Producers, Account Executives, Account Managers, service team members, managers, carriers, and members of other departments

Communicates effectively with Wellness Manager and provides timely complete information to allow them to effectively manage service execution

Required

Upon hire, completing the CWWS certification

2+ years of Employee Benefits or corporate wellness program experience

BS/BA in fitness, nursing, exercise science or related health/wellness field

Preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
