The Position:

Establish systems of treatments and medication administration that ensure safety, therapeutic outcomes, efficiency and the opportunity to evaluate the residents needs
Document into the medical record all relevant changes and or challenges
Lead the caregivers and inspire them to grow into their fullest potential
Work with MD and CNP to establish needs and to implement all care as ordered
Provide a therapeutic support to families providing time, patience, trust and effective communication
Support the Department heads and create a synchronicity with the Director of Nursing
Always be a strong and respectful advocate for the residents
Encourage and support the sales efforts of the community
Complete all other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Must possess a current and active license to practice as an LPN in Illinois
Minimum of one year experience working with the aging population is preferred but not required
Upholding nursing best practice and standards of care for an aging population
Comprehension and adherence to state regulations
Willing to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and holiday
