In this role, you get to:

  • Provide clinical support to the sleep medicine providers by performing vitals and prepping charts
  • Provide set up and instructions to patients picking up HSTs
  • Download and sanitize all HST equipment after drop off
  • Oversee all sleep orders to ensure correct study is performed ensuring ordering provider is informed of any needed changes
  • Schedules HSTs, In lab, sleep consults and mask fittings in the computerized schedule
  • Maintains Sleep Lab equipment and supplies inventory
  • Ensures adherence to patient call back policies as well as timeliness of lab and home test scheduling
  • Assists with recredentialing of Sleep Facility and DME - ensures all required logs, quality assurance, policies and procedures are implemented.
  • Under the guidance of the sleep director, updates department manuals and policies as needed and/or as requested
  • Completes patient training regarding proper and complete use of the DME equipment as well as completion of all related paperwork, charting, billing, and equipment tracking.
  • Fits masks ensuring patient's comfort and compliance - trouble shoots all issues with masks
  • Works with DME companies and vendors to best serve the patient

Schedule:

7:45-4 M-F

Tuesday Evening until 6pm



Salary Description

Salary range starting from $30/Hour

Drs. Girgis & Associates is an independent otolaryngology practice in the Chicago western suburbs. Our Board-Certified physicians provide a diverse and comprehensive range of both general and subspecialty services that are complemented by our sleep services. Our AASM accredited sleep lab consisting of 2 beds, provides diagnostic and therapeutic services in sleep.



Valid BLS Certification

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) Certification

High school diploma/GED

Work Experience: 1 year of experience required.

Experience with Nox Sleep Diagnostic Software preferred but not required
