Infra Architect- Cloud & On-prem server

Location: Lake Forest, Illinois, United States

We are looking for Infra Architect- Cloud & On-prem server with 9-12 years overall IT experience to join our team. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

This is an onsite role, and the candidate is expected to be in office 5 days a week, thus should be ready to relocate if not local to the location- Lake Forest, Illinois, United States

Primary & Required Skills:

Ø Should have experience in managing Azure Cloud & On-prem server infrastructures effectively plan, install, configure and optimize the infrastructure to consistently achieve high availability and performance.

Ø Should have Hands-on experience on Core Azure services (i.e Compute, Storage, Network, Database, Security, Active Directory, Vulnerability Management, Patch management etc.).

Ø Should act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization cloud end-to-end architecture, including Azure and future providers, networking, provisioning, and management.

Ø Should have leadership ability to back decisions with research and articulate several options, along with pros and cons for each and every recommendation.

Ø Maintain overall industry knowledge on latest trends, technology, best in standard, etc.

Ø Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services

Ø Should have Hands-on experience Windows (Primary), RedHat (Secondary) build, Upgrade, and troubleshooting.

Ø Should have OS migration using P2V and P2P Methodologies.

Ø Good to have Bare Metal Recovery configuration, management for on-prem servers.

Ø Good to have Firmware upgrades on HP and Dell servers and other hardware components.

Ø Should have knowledge on cost-optimization strategies and successfully implemented into Azure account to minimize billing.

Ø Should have strong understanding of Operating systems Windows/Linux and troubleshooting methodologies

Ø Should have good experience in patching Windows/Linux servers.

Ø Good to have knowledge on Application Lifecycle to troubleshoot the issues.

Ø Should have knowledge on ITIL Framework to support Incident/ Change/ Problem/ Knowledge/ Service/ Report Management.

Ø Should have strong understanding of troubleshooting methodologies and root cause analysis.

Ø Should have knowledge on automation and orchestration tooling, including developing scripting for provisioning and deprovisioning automation, Configuration orchestration, patching automation, Configuration enforcement and management, and infrastructure optimization.

Ø Good to have skills to configure and provision the hypervisor management like VMware ESXi and Redhat Openshift.

Ø Should have skills to configure Disaster recovery capability using on-prem and Cloud various replication methodologies.
