What We're Looking For

We are seeking a dynamic Chapter Relations Coordinator to join our team where you will work directly with the team director and program managers to support our state association activities. This position is responsible for all administrative tasks, data input and report generation, interacting with state boards, marketing, and supporting our annual Leadership Conference. Working interdepartmentally to complete tasks efficiently and effectively will be required.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Compile data from a wide variety of sources for the purpose of preparing reports, making recommendations, and/or preparing information for boards and team members.
  • Collect meeting and financial data from state associations to ensure compliance with state policy and track funding requirements.
  • Assist the Director and Program Managers with meeting set up, marketing, elections, and distribution of information.
  • Support program managers with state board meetings and attend those meetings when requested.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the annual Leadership Conference.
  • Maintain and update a wide variety of manual and electronic documents, files, and records, ensuring timely information in accordance with established administrative guidelines.
  • Assist with increasing engagement and providing member value through our state chapters.
Education and Skills
  • Education - An Associate's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years' experience in member services, affiliate or chapter relationships, or volunteer operations.
  • Communication - Clearly articulate and share information with stakeholders to ensure effective communications.
  • Decision-making -Use decision-making techniques to ensure a clear and cohesive plan of action that appeals to most stakeholders and fulfills the objectives of Chapter Relations
  • Interpersonal - Identify and solve problems, resolve conflicts, and make fair decisions and communicate them to all stakeholders to build trust and establish open, collaborative communications.
  • Collaboration - Operate in team environments, brainstorm and communicate with colleagues, and conduct duties as a team.
  • Organization - Multitask and organize data from a variety of sources. Must be very detail oriented and committed to upholding high standards while meeting project deadlines
  • Travel - This role may require occasional travel, up to 10%.
