Location: Corporate Shop, Montrose, Illinois Reports to: Maintenance Manager Compensation: $20-$25 per hour Required Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics: High School diploma or GED required Must have a good driving record and have a CDL Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with management and employees Possess a self-motivating personality as well as team building skills Have arc welding, wire welding, and/or torch welding experience Key Responsibilities: 1. Follow all established personnel and safety policies and procedures 2. Maintain and repair company owned equipment and facilities 3. Acquire and maintain knowledge and understanding of the computer-controlled process in facilities 4. Must have the ability to read wiring schematics and blueprints 5. Have a working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems 6. Attend training as directed by Maintenance Manager & Safety Director 7. Assist locations and departments in-season as needed 8. Design and installation of ammonia facilities Travel: The position may require travel to Effingham Equity facilities, meetings and seminars. Work Environment: While performing daily duties the employee will be working near moving mechanical equipment, in outside weather conditions, and may have exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Occasionally works in high precarious places. May require extended hours. Must be available for emergency breakdowns (nights, weekends, and holidays).
