Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (from Media and Entertainment Industry Background)

Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 10+ Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Media and Entertainment to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and be responsible for driving the business requirements for various initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
Understand the business needs within the Media and Entertainment sector, ensuring that all requirements are captured accurately and comprehensively.
Develop clear, detailed documentation such as business process models, workflows, user stories, and functional specifications.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including executives, technical teams, and external partners.
Facilitate discussions and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
Present data-driven insights to stakeholders, offering recommendations to support business decisions.

Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for business improvement.
Work with SQL to extract, analyze, and visualize data, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Solution Design & Problem Solving:
Identify challenges and recommend solutions to ensure that business requirements are met in a scalable, efficient, and sustainable manner.
Leverage strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide solutions to complex issues.
Ensure that solutions align with the companys broader goals and objectives, particularly within the Media and Entertainment industry.

Collaboration & Adaptability:
Foster strong working relationships with development teams to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the requirements.
Adapt to changing priorities and conditions in a dynamic work environment, especially within the fast-paced Media and Entertainment sector.

Documentation & Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and reflects the true requirements of the project.
Work closely with QA teams to ensure that deliverables meet business expectations.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigations to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Must-Have Qualifications:
Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in the Media and Entertainment industry, with a deep understanding of its workflows, business models, and challenges.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail, data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Logical and critical thinking skills, capable of assessing situations and solving problems efficiently.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of SQL to perform data extraction and analysis.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
AWS and Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with AWS architecture and its application within data-driven environments.
Snowflake: Experience or knowledge of Snowflake, especially for data warehousing and analytics.

Preferred Experience:
10+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably within Media and Entertainment.
Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Previous experience in technical environments, with a working understanding of cloud solutions and data systems (e.g., AWS, Snowflake).
