Job description

Your Story Counseling, a multi-specialty mental health practice, seeks qualified full-time child therapist to join our practice in Oswego or two days in our Lisle office and two days in our Oswego office. We currently see clients in-person and remotely.

Candidates must be clinically licensed to practice independently in the State of Illinois, however, we will consider candidates who are near eligibility for their respective clinical licensing exam, and candidates who have strong clinical experience so long as they are an LSW, LPC or ALMFT. All candidates must also possess a high level of proficiency in supporting clients with general therapeutic needs in addition to their area of specialty practice. Our therapists are employees, not independent contractors.

Compensation is a fixed hourly rate (not a percentage split) and paid based on the number of clients seen per pay period rather than on billing received. Your Story Counseling actively markets its services statewide which provides a steady stream of referrals. Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, compassionate, and committed to increasing the advocacy and awareness of various mental health causes.

Requirements:
Current and unrestricted State of Illinois clinical license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT or sufficient clinical experience
Master's degree or doctorate in a clinical discipline.
Full-time candidates must be available to attend a minimum of 28 weekly client sessions on at least two weekday evenings and Saturday. Days of work will be established with input from each candidate.
Relevant experience working with children.
Maintain a minimum caseload in order to maintain work classification (full-time).
Ability to navigate stairs and sit for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43.00 - $56.00 per hour
