Summary The Transfer Student Employees support the Transfer Department by providing basic assistance and completing day to day tasks. Student employees will work on a part time basis, often with flexible schedules to accommodate class needs. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours to be eligible for student employment opportunities during Fall and Spring semesters. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 3 credit hours to be eligible for student employment opportunities during Summer semesters. Essential Functions This list is meant to be representative, not exhaustive. Some incumbents may not perform all the duties listed while in other cases related duties may also be assigned. Serve as Face of Illinois Central College Providing model representation of Illinois Central College. Support Transfer Office staff Face to face. Answer phones and triage phone calls answered to appropriate person and departments. Perform related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities. Must be enrolled in 6 credit hours at ICC during the semester of employment for fall or spring or enrolled in 3 credit hours for summer employment. 2.0 Minimum GPA. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Possess excellent level of responsibility, reliability, punctuality and professionalism. Strong verbal and written communication. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others. Preferred Qualifications Entry level customer service.
