Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team at our Quincy, IL plant. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Location: Quincy, IL

Pay Range: $52,229 per year

What's the Job?

  • Daily preventative maintenance schedule
  • Install, repair, and maintain all machinery such as conveyor systems, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, compressors and dryers
  • Routine checks of safety systems, alarm systems, and facility mechanisms
  • Troubleshoot electrical and PLC issues on equipment
  • Conduct general facility upkeep procedures and tasks

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED and three or more years maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment required: or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Computer literate with common knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
