Job description

Duties Reviews and acts on complaints that are extremely sensitive and which can create wide exposure and a high degree of interest. Identify, accumulate, analyze and evaluate information from a variety of sources to identify and determine the validity of allegations and issues inherent in the investigation/assistance complaints. Works with employees/managers to assist and show them how a procedure or process should be working when an inquiry/inspection reveals it is not being done in an acceptable manner. Provide leadership and oversight of the Joint Munitions Command Headquarters inspection staff, to include influencing leaders across both headquarters and installations. Prepare analysis on complaints processed through Inspector General's office; covering types and trends of complaints for presentation to organizational leaders on a periodic basis. Prepare and deliver executive summaries, information papers and briefings to advise senior leaders on case summaries, recommendations and analysis. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Occasional TDY may be required. Conducting inspections of organizational activities to improve processes, workforce discipline and morale. 4. Making recommendations to change/influence policies or programs. And 5. Teaching and training staff on proper execution of policies, procedures across the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
