Job description

Overview
The TRANSCOM Cloud Optimal DevSecOps Ecosystem (TCODE) is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability developed by the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). Its goal is to adopt the Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise DevSecOps Platform Initiative (DSOP) within USTRANSCOM. TCODE leverages lessons learned from the Platform One program, industry best practices, and open-source software like Kubernetes. It aims to establish continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines at various classification levels. Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Team Leadership:
Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members. Stakeholder Management:
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals. Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and report on project risks and issues. Quality Assurance:
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of project processes and outcomes. Continuous Improvement:
Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in project management, particularly in software development or IT projects.
Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools, such as Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and modern software development practices.
