Job Description Summary
The AVP - FP&A manages tasks related to financial reporting, detailed financial analysis, integration of plan and forecast and to support businesses and business leadership in achieving financial goals.
What You'll Do
- Compile and coordinate forecast and budget process for specific company subsidiaries and departments
- Generate and provide strategic insight/analytics into affiliate and consolidated financial reporting to inform business leaders ensuring quality, accuracy and timely submission
- Helps manage holding company line of business with detailed analysis as well as liaison with rest of organization on financial matters
- Work closely with senior management in developing and implementing strategic plans including financial analysis and due diligence related to strategic investments and new business lines
- Identify issues and trends, and engage respective management groups timely for actioning
- Design cost allocation models
- Work with Workiva, PowerBI, Workday and/or Adaptive Planning
- Lead adhoc initiatives and reporting as required to support strategic decision making
Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience
- 5-7 years related financial experience
- Proven ability to be a strong internal business partner with collaborative business focus
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and a changing dynamic environment
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrates excellent judgment and professionalism when dealing with various internal & external stakeholders
- Produce quality work free of mistakes and discrepancies with minimal oversight
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
