Job Description Summary

The Event Marketing Coordinator role is responsible for all marketing requests for events hosted by banks, events team, and loyalty programs. This role is responsible for ensuring all event marketing requests move seamlessly through the marketing workflows and processes. Coordinator will project manage targeted marketing programs designed to maximize engagement at events. Candidate must be a motivated self-starter, extremely detail oriented, and comfortable working on a variety of projects at any given time. This role will be heavily involved in the use of and refinement of our Project Management tool: Workfront.

What You'll Do

• Implementation, coordination and completion of event related marketing pieces, including but not limited to event collateral, direct marketing pieces, quarterly newsletters, email blasts, digital advertising, flyers, buck slips, poster, invitations and RSVP sites.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal groups i.e.- Creative, Digital/Social, IT) and bank teams to ensure clear communication and coordination and maximize strategic planning and asset development for the events at bank, off-site, and loyalty programs.
• Onboard and project manage marketing requests from bank charter's staff, Wintrust business line representatives, Affinity Program Managers.
• Develop and manage expectations of timelines to ensure deliverables and projects remains on track.
• Ensure standards and consistency in all communications, materials and deliverables.
• Manage the workloads of the Events Team enterprise wide projects after request intake through kickoff/job requests, maintain and monitor work schedules to track and prioritize responsibilities. Utilize project management software (Workfront) to manage incoming requests and ensure projects are completed on time and meet the requirements by skillfully setting deadlines
• Work closely and build strong, collaborative relationships with Events Team, Digital/Social, IT, Account & Creative staff to manage workload balancing to meet all project deadlines, tracking and reporting. Assemble assets for projects and version control
• Assist with various Platinum Adventures travel program communication and spreadsheets

Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience

• 3-5 years related experience - project management experience a plus
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
