Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secret Cleared SATCOM Network Controller to join a premier federal contracting company based out of Hill Air Force Base. The Secret Cleared SATCOM Network Controller is responsible for supporting network and telecommunications devices for a DoD customer. Responsibilities of the Secret Cleared SATCOM Network Controller include: Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loops, alarms, and error indicators, along with various troubleshooting methods Employ network monitoring tools to oversee, track, and resolve problems, escalating them as needed Manage and update tickets using the Remedy system Troubleshoot network technologies in a live, global environment Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices such as firewalls, cryptographic devices, and routers to optimize performance and ensure the desired security posture is attained and maintained. Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices, phone systems, including phone units, voicemail, switches, infrastructure, call manager systems, Video Teleconference (VTC) systems video recording/viewing/distribution systems, and related telecommunications trunk circuits. Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices including MSPP, Promina, ATM, and Optical.
