HR MANAGER

Direct Hire - Onsite daily in near NW suburban location or other local offices

Precision equipment company specializing in vehicle and energy related products manufacturing is looking to add an HR MANAGER to their team. This newly created position will play an integral Lead role in supporting 3 divisions and will be the "go-to" for all safety and employee related needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HR MANAGER

• Mentor all levels of employee engagement, from senior managers to the labor force.
• Monitor all compliance standards for HR, Safety and Environmental standards EHS.
• Managing recruiters to see that a position is approved, job specs are accurate, confirm interviews, create offer letters and administer trait assessment for those being considered.
• Workers comp dealing and management for two west suburban offices and one Chicago location (near Rush hospital).
• Payroll for about 120 non-union employees where tracking and managing benefits is also done through Paycom.

• Managing using Employee Navigator for open enrollment and changes.
• Organize monthly events for birthday and other types of business success celebrations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HR MANAGER

• Bachelor's in HR or SHRM certification.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in HR and Safety Compliance.
• Willingness to travel to facilities in Chicago once every 5-10 business days and as needed.

Salary in the low to mid $100K's ($120,000 - $150,000)
