Our client is seeking a dedicated PO Support Specialist with expertise in Ariba Shopping Carts to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance in the procurement process, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of purchase orders.

Description:

This is a customer facing role which supports our centralized shopping cart process, invoice reconciliation process and overall governance. This role will support both SRM and Ariba to create shopping carts, track through to completion and reconcile invoices. There are also shared mailboxes to work in, replying to stakeholder and supplier inquiries on cart/PO and invoice status.

  • Create shopping cart requests in SAP and Ariba
  • Maintain Service Now shopping cart portal with status of carts
  • Update an excel budget tracker with cart/PO information
  • Interact with requestor and provide overall customer support
  • Interact with Genpact/AP teams
  • Manage multiple mailboxes in Outlook
  • Provide overall general support around PO's, Shopping Carts and internal processes
  • Matching invoices to associated quote and PO
  • Working with suppliers to address discrepancies and follow appropriate steps to resolve
  • Working with business owner to verify receipt of equipment and/or services

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing support role, preferably using Ariba Shopping Carts.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus
