Job description
We have a great opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Health Clinic in Bloomington, IN!
Position Details:
- Full time, Day Shift
- 4 10-hour shifts per week
- No call, holidays, or weekends
- 100% outpatient
- Practice includes 1 physician and 3 advanced practice providers
- Primary location is Bloomington, with minimal time spent in Bedford Clinic to cover provider PTO
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver care to injured workers and also perform medical exams on employee who are required to have the exam per their employer
- Perform assessments of muscular skeletal injuries
- Perform suturing of minor lacerations, DOT exams which require federal certification, OSHA mandated test review such as hearing tests and spirometry
- Have direct communication to employers regarding injury care of their employee as well as employer mandated exams
Qualifications:
- ACNP, FNP or PA-C required
- DOT certification required (must obtain at least 30 days before start date)
- Experience in Orthopedics preferred
- Provider must have MSK assessment experience
- Must be willing to gain knowledge of occupational health practice
