Specialty: Primary Care
Schedule: Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30AM - 4:30PM
Location: 13000 N Meridian St, Carmel, IN
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet patient when entering the practice
- Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information
- Perform insurance verification on the date of service
- File and maintain medical records
- Confirms and schedule appointments
- Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Collects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service
- Perform referral documentation promptly
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience working within a medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays and maintaining medical records
- Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software
- Proficient in typing, 50-60 wpm and Microsoft Office
- Previous experience and knowledge with medical terminology
