Job description

• Organizes, monitors and prioritizes tasks of production line workers to meet production goals.
• Oversee and coach employees
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Recognizes and takes steps to resolve operating problems to minimize their impact on the operations
• Meet production schedules by ensuring all scheduled products are made on-time and accurate
• Provide timely and accurate Performance Evaluations to team members.
• Distributes information to the team in a clear and timely manner.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (entire shift duration).
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly, and heavier items with assistance.
• Manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks involving hands and wrists.
• Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching.
• Climbing ladders or stairs, and working in various positions including kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures (hot, cold, humid) and exposure to dust, fumes, and noise.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Good visual acuity to monitor production processes, read and interpret documents, gauges, and instruments.
• Ability to hear alarms, production machinery, and instructions in a noisy environment.
• Clear verbal communication ability to interact effectively with team members.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing and 2 years of front-line leadership experience.
• Able to train and motivate department personnel.
• Able to adjust to changing conditions, prioritize and manage work processes and workforce flexibility
• Basic PC skills
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Ability to resolve minor interpersonal conflict
• Willing and able to work in a variety of conditions (hot, cold, dust, etc.)
• High School Diploma/GED/HSE
