Responsibilities Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer III (Assessor): Duties and Experience: Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports Work Location: Primary: Crane, Indiana (candidates must work on-site as needed) Travel Required: 25-50% to NSWC Crane and/or Washington DC, Navy Yard Travel to various CONUS and OCONUS sites may also be required Qualifications Requirements Education: Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent Experience: 10 years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering Additional Requirements: Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1M Clearance: Must have a SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance.
