Job description

Amentum is seeking a Project Lead to join our team in Odon, IN. As a Project Lead, you will manage operations of one or more projects under the general guidance of the Program Manager. You will also plan and manage the work efforts of task team personnel, determine and monitor subtask schedules and budgets, and ensuring compliance with all contract and task order requirements and quality standards pertaining to the task/subtask. Interfacing with customer personnel in work performance will be essential. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison with the customer task lead. Responsible for operational and financial management of the project. Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction by quality performance of contractor support. Manage, control and execute activities associated with the development of plans under the program contract to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations, including cost, schedule and quality, while maintaining company profit motives. Communicate new requirements, concerns, and issues to PMO for resolution. Provide for the welfare of the personnel and the enhancement of the contract, to include optimizing the balance between resources of manpower, equipment, time, materials and money. Responsible for keeping the Company, Corporate Management, and interested US Government personnel apprised on current status of operations and maintenance and any other special interest items. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in related field required or equivalent. 5 years of supervisory and management experience. Experience in planning, managing supervising Contractor Support Operations. Experience with managing subcontractors Experience working with Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as producing quality reports. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Security Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance.
