OneMain Financial is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the open Operations Support Representative Sr. role with the Back Office / Special Handling (BOSH) team. This position will provide administrative support to our enterprise Paid Out Lien Release process. This role is responsible for account review, research, preparing, releasing and filing lien releases. A solid understanding of policy and procedures, CLASS and ELF knowledge, organization, time management, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are required for this role.

In the Role

  • Manage and/or perform lien release activities for accounts both in CLASS and DVI to adhere to state and regulatory compliance guidelines
  • Manage and/or perform Paid account activities for accounts including sending paid-in-full confirmation to customers
  • Provide phone support for the OneMain Financial Services branch personnel, customers, and external vendors, resolving inquiries.
  • Research, prepare, and process lien release requests for the enterprise as requested.
  • Complete lien releases with an extremely high rate of data accuracy.
  • Sign and notarize documents to certify as complete and accurate for recording.
  • Balance volume demands for Paid Out Processing_Lien Release without compromising quality and accuracy of documentation
  • Assist with additional BOSH teams and processes when necessary (Allonges, Affidavits, Payment Processing, Account charge off processing, Debt Sales execution, Borrower's Assistance execution, etc.)
  • Complete required compliance training by assigned due dates
  • Assist with DMT and process updates and/or requirements
  • Provide additional training and mentoring to new hires when requested
  • Perform Other Duties as assigned by BOSH management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ GED.

Preferred:

  • Proficient skills in Office Applications, (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe PDF)
  • Proficient skills with time management, organization, and high accuracy of work
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-year experience in accounting, bookkeeping, cashiering or customer service
  • Financial Services and Lending background a plus
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and software applications
