Aerospace Project Manager

I am working with a company that is seeking an experienced and dynamic Aerospace Project Manager to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of aerospace projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
• Lead project meetings, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient utilization and allocation.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate project risks.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present project status reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience managing aerospace projects, with a minimum of X years in a project management role.
• Strong technical background in aerospace systems and technologies.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry regulations and standards.
• Eligibility to obtain security clearance (if required).
