The Medical Assistant will support the podiatric team in providing high-quality patient care. This role involves both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the practice and assisting in patient management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in patient examinations and procedures by preparing the exam room and ensuring necessary instruments and supplies are available.
- Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients on foot care, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle phone inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is a plus.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a podiatry or orthopedic practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced medical office environment.
- May require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
